Today we made Toilet Paper Roll Bird Feeders. The kids absolutely loved it! We went outside earlier and noticed we already had our first customer. :) The bird flew away before I could get a picture.
These are the supplies you will need:
Peanut Butter
Birdseed
A couple of toilet paper rolls
Something to spread the peanut butter with (we used a knife because I was the one spreading the peanut butter… not the kiddos)
A plate
Pour Birdseed on the plate.
Spread the peanut butter over the entire toilet paper roll.
Roll the toilet paper roll back and forth on the plate of birdseed until it is completely covered.
All done! Now just slide it on the branches!
This is a really neat idea. I made one with my son that is not so nice, but it still worked. I bet he’ll love this one way better. I just hope he does not try to eat it when we are making it lol!
